Splitting Merged Text

To return a single merged caption to its component parts, select the merged caption and choose Split Merged Text from the Edit menu. Sketchpad splits the caption back into the parts you originally merged.

Select the text objects in the order shown at left and choose Merge Text to create the center caption. Select the merged text and choose Split Merged Text to return the individual elements to their original positions (right).
