Display Options

While you’re using the Iterate dialog box, you can use the Display pop-up menu to control the appearance of the iteration. You can:

· increase or decrease the number of times your rule is iterated.

· display all iterations, or only the final iteration. The set of all iterated images of an object is sometimes called the orbit of that object.

While there are exceptions, in general you may find it convenient to display all iterations when you’re iterating a single map, and to display only the final iteration when you’re iterating more than one map simultaneously. See Multiple Iteration Maps for more information.
