Home: Menu Reference: Context Menu
The Context menu provides a convenient shortcut to many of the menu commands that apply to a specific document or object. The Context menu does not appear in the main menu itself; it appears only when you request it.
To display the Context menu:
Windows: Click the right mouse button in your sketch.
Mac: Hold down the Ctrl key while you click in your sketch.
The commands available in the Context menu depend on where in the sketch you click. If you click in empty space the Context menu contains commands that apply to your sketch as a whole. If you click on an object in your sketch, the Context menu contains commands that apply to that object. The Context menu always shows only available commands.
When the Context menu appears, if there’s room on the screen, the menu appears in such a position that either Preferences or Properties is directly under the mouse. This makes it especially easy to choose these commands.
For information on any of the commands in the Context menu, refer to that specific topic in the Menu Reference.
